This article is about the relationship between characteristics of acute care physical therapists (PTs) and use of standardized outcome measures. Darby Smith, PT, DPT
Darby Smith, PT, DPT, is a physical therapist with 4 years of experience in the acute care setting. She graduated from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2020. She completed the Memorial Hermann Acute Care Residency program at the Texas Medical Center in 2021. She is currently employed in the Heart and Vascular Institute at Memorial Hermann Hospital- TMC in Houston TX. She is an adjunct professor at The University of Texas Medical Branch where her primary focus is teaching content regarding physical therapy management in critical care and the cardiopulmonary system.
