2023-09-19 Town Hall: Students Interested in Acute Care

The aim of this town hall is to engage students interested in acute care physical therapy or for individuals who want to know more. Panelists will consist of physical therapists working in acute care. They will provide their insight on how to prepare for an acute care clinical experience including resources as well as discuss their lived experiences. This will create a place for students to ask questions and provide APTA Acute Care with ideas on how we can support our student membership. Objectives By the end of this town hall, the attendee will Identify resources to assist them in preparing for an acute care clinical experience. Discover aspects of an acute care physical therapist’s day Explore perceptions of the acute care experience Identify membership opportunities within APTA Acute Care.
