A Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and the Director of Clinical Education at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT where she teaches physical therapy management of patients with medically complex disorders/acute care as well as teaching development of therapeutic relationships, cultural competence, and psychosocial issues in health care. With many years in teaching and practice, she has expertise in acute care academic teaching, clinical education and residency education.  Her publications and presentations include such topics as problem-based learning and communication skills, acute care education, clinical education, and interprofessional education.  She serves as a curriculum consultant in physical therapy including for acute care residencies as well as a member of the curriculum committee for the Patricia Tietjen Teaching Academy of Nuvance Health.   Dr. Fein is a Credentialed Trainer for the both the Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program Levels 1 & 2.   She is the Chair of the Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy’s Focus Group on Residencies and Fellowships.

A Physical therapist that primarily practices as a clinical specialist in the acute care neurologic setting at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland since 2005.  She received her Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida in 2005 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2009. She has been an APTA Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist since 2011.  At Johns Hopkins, she serves as the Director of the Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Delaware Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency and is a faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Delaware Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency, mentoring residents on the acute care neuroscience service and general medicine services.  Additionally, she has served as a senior physical therapist in the Johns Hopkins Multidisciplinary ALS clinic since 2007.  She is an instructor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

The Director of Physical Therapy, Director of Safe Patient Handling and Mobility, Director of Therapy Services at Rusk Ambulatory Affiliate Locations, Site Coordinator of PT Clinical Education, and Director of PT Residency and Fellowship Programs at Rusk Rehabilitation, NYU Langone Health.  Dr. Stolfi holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Rehabilitation at NYU School of Medicine and regularly lectures in the physical therapy programs at both NYU and the University of Scranton.  With her over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist, Dr. Stolfi ensures consistency of practice with respect to physical therapy across all clinical locations, and promotes quality education for student physical therapists, PT Residents, and PT Fellows-in-Training, at NYU Langone Health’s Rusk Rehabilitation.  The focus of much of Dr. Stolfi’s current and recent research relates to mentoring and education of student physical therapists.  She is also an associate editor of the Journal of Clinical Education in Physical Therapy (JCEPT), and a co-chair of Rusk Rehab’s Educational Excellence Committee, which promotes inter-professional education for rehabilitation professionals covering a wide range of topics across a variety of clinical areas of practice. 

Dr. McCuen completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009 from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. She has practiced primarily in the acute care setting, but has also practiced in home health, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and head injury re-entry clinic. Dr. McCuen has transitioned to academia at Bowling Green State University as an Assistant Clinical Professor and practices PRN at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Dallas as an Advanced Clinical Specialist-level therapist. Her areas of clinical expertise are critical care, cardiovascular and pulmonary, and geriatrics. In 2015, Dr. McCuen became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatrics and in 2022 became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary. She is a current member of the Exam Development Committee for the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy and has been actively involved with the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy as an item writer and or task force member since 2014. She is the past Didactic Chair for the Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehab Acute Care Residency Program and now serves in a consultant role. She is also a volunteer site reviewer with the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education.  Dr. McCuen is an active member of Disciple Central Community Church and serves on the healthcare ministry.
